Job summary

InterCare Community Health Network in Eau Claire, MI is seeking a full-time Bilingual (English/Spanish) Medical Assistant to support providers across the clinic.

The position requires MA certification or associate degree, BLS certification within two months, strong customer service and cross-cultural communication, and proficiency with MS Office. Wages start at $19 per hour with a comprehensive benefits package.

No vaccine requirement is noted and travel to other sites may be needed.

Qualifications

• Certificate MA program or associate degree in medical assisting.
• BLS Certification within two months of employment.
• Proficiency in customer service and professionalism.
• Meets safety and regulatory requirements (Joint Commission NP, Infection Control, OSHA).
• Proficient in using email and office software.

Responsibilities

• Performs clinical tasks to support the provider team.
• Works with providers to deliver high-quality patient assessment, treatment and follow-up care.
• Prepares patients for examinations and assists with procedures.
• Administers immunizations and medications per policy; maintains medication storage standards.
• Participates in pre-visit planning and daily huddle to optimize patient flow.
• Performs non-clinical duties to support operations.
