Job summary

Esperanza Health Centers in Chicago is seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant (Full-Time) to support high-quality patient-centered healthcare. In this role, you will perform clinical and administrative duties, including taking vital signs, assisting providers, and managing patient communications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience working in a clinical setting is required.
• Bilingual English and Spanish proficiency is required.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based care model.

Responsibilities

• Take patients’ vital signs and prepare patients for examinations.
• Perform initial interviews to gather medical history.
• Assist providers during examinations and procedures.
• Administer immunizations and injections as ordered.
• Communicate lab results to patients as instructed.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program
