Job summary

Requires RN with MD/DC license, 1+ year community health experience with immigrant populations, and bilingual Spanish/English. The role involves coordinating patient flow, supporting vaccine programs, and educating patients.

Qualifications

• RN licensed to practice in DC or MD; second licensure required after 6 months
• Minimum 1 year in community health with immigrant populations and/or maternal-child health preferred
• Bilingual in Spanish/English highly desired

Responsibilities

• Assist Nurse Manager in clinic scheduling and efficiency
• Coordinate patient flow and clinic operations
• Lead and supervise Medical Assistants as needed
• Provide patient education and discharge instructions
• Assist with refilling prescriptions and prior authorizations
• Collaborate to share lab and imaging results with patients
• Support vaccine programs and specialty pharmaceutical services
• Complete forms and paperwork for patients, schools, or healthcare entities
• Participate in Quality Assurance activities
• Support employee health activities as needed
