Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years intake experience in a personal injury law firm preferred.
• Strong understanding of personal injury claims, insurance coverage, liability, and the legal intake process.
• Experience with lead conversion, client retention, and obtaining signed retainer agreements.
• Willingness to learn additional practice areas including Employment Law and Elder Abuse.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle a high volume of calls and follow-ups in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking ability.
• Experience with LeadDocket or Filevine preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly and professionally to incoming calls, online inquiries, and referrals.
• Conduct thorough initial consultations to gather case information and assess claims.
• Screen and evaluate cases based on intake guidelines and criteria.
• Handle inquiries across multiple practice areas as needed.
• Communicate services, build rapport, and guide clients through retention.
• Follow up with prospects to maximize conversion and signed retainers.
• Prepare, send, and obtain signed retainer agreements and intake documents.
• Document client information and case details in the case management system.
• Coordinate with attorneys and departments for a smooth transition of retained clients.
• Meet or exceed performance goals including response times and conversion rates.
• Maintain professionalism, empathy, and confidentiality in interactions.
