Insurance Claim HQ (Hair Shunnarah Trial Attorneys) seeks a full-time Intake Attorney to be the first voice for VIP referral clients. This client-facing, on-site role in Metairie, LA handles brief intake calls and explains who we are.

You will ensure engagements are entered correctly, support the intake team, and hand off matters to the appropriate teams. The position offers a competitive $60,000 salary and benefits with a hybrid path after 90 days.

Qualifications

• Active license to practice law, in good standing, in any U.S. state (state not specified).
• Based within commuting distance of Metairie, Louisiana; on-site for 90 days with hybrid options thereafter.
• Excellent phone presence and people skills; warm and professional under pressure.
• Able to work at pace with intake calls throughout the day, including peak times.
• Sound judgment and strong ethical instincts; honest about what you don't know and willing to find it.
• Fluency in Spanish is a significant plus; bilingual ability highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for our VIP referral-source clients, taking calls promptly so they reach a real person.
• Run a brief, friendly intake call under ten minutes to explain the firm and next steps.
• Protect engagement integrity; confirm spoken with the named client before countersign.
• Serve as a resource to the intake team, lending attorney judgment on questions during intake.
• Hand new matters off cleanly to intake, case-management, and the attorney handling the file.
• Bring warmth, empathy, and professionalism to every call in stressful moments.
