Job summary

Compass Connections in Driscoll, Texas, is seeking aDirector-level leader to oversee child welfare programs and multi-site operations. The role requires strong policy development, staff supervision, and compliance management to support safe, effective care for children.

Expect five years of senior experience in childcare administration and a Bachelor's degree. On-site work schedule is Monday–Friday with on-call duties; bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited program/university.
• First aid, CPR, Emergency behavior intervention certifications are required.
• Five years of experience as director of a licensed childcare program or administrator of a large organization.

Responsibilities

• Update and implement program policies and procedures to promote best practices.
• Supervise and support staff to maintain campuses, ensuring buildings, grounds and equipment are clean and ready for tours.
• Maintain 90%+ compliance with contracting entities, internal and external audits.
• Maintain annual staff turnover at less than 10%.
• Hire, train, supervise, and communicate with program personnel assigned to this position.
• Conduct periodic case reviews to ensure assessments meet standard child welfare practices and program guidelines.
• Organize local and regional meetings with community entities to address issues affecting program operations.
• Participate in service expansion planning, budget preparations, and long-term planning.
