Job summary

Marketplace Chaplains seeks a Part-Time Chaplain to provide compassionate pastoral care to employees and their families across client sites. The role centers on supporting spiritual wellbeing within a professional, discreet framework aligned with our Christian mission.

Visit worksites regularly, offer confidential discussions, grief support, and referrals, and assist in new employee orientation. A valid driver’s license is required for on-site work, with remote coordination of chaplain services

Qualifications

• Ability to work in an interdisciplinary and interfaith setting.
• Excellent listening and communication skills.
• Christian lifestyle and active participation in church.
• Diplomacy and customer service in diverse groups.
• Strong written and oral communication.
• Problem solving and policy interpretation skills.
• Proficient with technology and Google/Microsoft tools.
• Valid driver's license and state minimum auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as messenger of faith, mission, and purpose.
• Interact with employees and community with character and spirituality.
• Regularly visit client worksites to build relationships of trust.
• Provide confidential pastoral discussions and referrals to employees and families.
• Assist in planning or attending funerals and grief support as needed.
• Support post‑termination care for transitioning employees.
• Provide life resources and literature to employees as appropriate.
• Represent chaplain services to clients during traumatic events.
• Participate in new employee orientation and onboarding processes.
