Job summary

Marketplace Chaplains seeks chaplains to provide confidential pastoral support to employees and families, visiting worksites weekly and offering spiritual guidance aligned with Christian values. The role emphasizes compassionate listening, crisis support, and referrals within a respected, nationwide ministry.

Responsibilities include visiting client sites, delivering bereavement and stress support, leading or supporting services as appropriate, and helping employees navigate personal challenges

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate spiritual maturity and commitment to Christian values.
• Excellent oral and written communication with leadership, staff, employees, and families.
• Ability to work in interfaith settings and respect diverse beliefs.
• Strong listening skills and ability to deliver supportive, confidential discussions.
• Proficiency with standard software for reporting and coordination.

Responsibilities

• Visit worksites regularly to interact with employees and build trust.
• Provide confidential pastoral support for employees and family members.
• Plan and participate in funerals or memorial services when appropriate.
• Offer post-termination care to ease transitions for affected staff.
• Coordinate referrals for specialized assistance as needed.
• Represent ministry to clients and explain Employee Care Service during orientation.
