Job summary

Centria in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking Spanish-speaking Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism under BCBA supervision. No prior experience required; comprehensive training is provided to help you implement individualized intervention plans and teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

The role involves standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and being patient, compassionate, and team-oriented. Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus.

Qualifications

• Patience and compassion in working with children with autism.
• 18+ years of age and a high school diploma or GED.
• CPR/First Aid certification and TB test (if not current).
• Background check required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under BCBA supervision to implement behavior plans.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Reduce interfering behaviors and support the child’s development.
