Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians in Grand Rapids, MI. You will work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under a BCBA's guidance, using evidence-based techniques to teach essential skills.

Requirements include a HS diploma or GED, 18+, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. CPR/First Aid and background checks may be required. Pay ranges from $17 to $20 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must have passion for helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and team-oriented.
• 18+ years old and HS diploma or GED.
• CPR/First Aid certification and TB test possible requirements.
• Pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement behavior intervention plans.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Help reduce interfering behaviors under BCBA supervision.
• Possess physical ability to assist children (standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs).
