Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children on the autism spectrum, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA.

No prior experience is required; we provide comprehensive training. You should be patient and compassionate, able to stand, sit, walk, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds as children move during sessions.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification and TB test.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children; implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors under BCBA supervision.
• Participate in training and adapt to client needs.
