Acacia Network in New York City and beyond seeks a Call Center Representative to answer incoming calls, screen and route messages, and assist patients with scheduling and information in a bilingual environment.

You will register patients in NextGen, verify demographics and insurance, maintain privacy, and meet call metrics. The role requires strong communication, ability to handle high call volumes, and teamwork within a diverse setting.

Formación

• High School Diploma is required.
• Associates Degree in Social Services, Human Services, or Public Health preferred.
• One year of experience in customer service and/or related clinical environment; working knowledge of medical terminology.

Responsabilidades

• Answer incoming customer calls and resolve issues using company policies.
• Screen and route calls; disseminate messages to appropriate departments.
• Register patients in NextGen and verify demographics, insurance, and other information.
• Schedule, reschedule and cancel patient appointments in NextGen.
• Follow up on missed or cancelled appointments and confirm upcoming ones by various means.
• Maintain patient records and ensure privacy and security of information.
• Meet or exceed Call Center metrics and provide back-up support as needed.
