Job summary

Floridacentral Credit Union in Tampa is seeking a focused Member Services Representative for our call center, working Monday through Friday on a day shift. You will handle telephone requests, explain services, resolve member issues, and cross-sell where appropriate.

No credit union experience is required; prior call center or customer service is preferred. Strong verbal communication and computer skills are essential, with an emphasis on accurate data entry and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Previous call center & customer service experience.
• Computer skills including navigating multiple tabs, windows and systems and verbal communication skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist members and potential members with telephone requests; explain services, respond to problems, and direct calls to the appropriate area.
• Answer questions about products and services and resolve problems within your authority; refer others to your supervisor with recommendations.
• Identify cross-sell opportunities and cross-sell services to members.
• Ensure that procedures are followed and forms are prepared accurately.
• Perform paying and receiving duties as a teller when needed and maintain member account information.
