Job summary

Bertelsmann, Inc. is seeking a Benefits Specialist to join the U.S. HR-Benefits team. You will help employees with medical, retirement, and other benefits, coordinate with vendors, and support enrollment and leave processes. The role requires bilingual English/Spanish communication and collaboration with multiple HR partners.

Office-based with flexibility for occasional after-hours support and two days on-site per week. Reports to the Director of Employee Benefits.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in human resources, with 2+ years in benefits
• Bachelor's degree or related experience required; CEBS preferred
• Fluency in English and Spanish, including translating benefits information

Responsibilities

• Assist employees with medical, dental, vision, life, and retirement benefits
• Support annual enrollment, life event changes, and vendor onboarding
• Respond to high volumes of inquiries and resolve benefits issues
• Coordinate with HRIS, Corporate Benefits, HR Partners, and vendors to resolve enrollment and eligibility issues
• Draft communications for benefit programs and conduct benefits orientations
• Support English-Spanish translation for benefit communications
• Ensure data accuracy and document retention for benefits records
