Centria Healthcare in Allen, TX is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism under the supervision of a BCBA. You will implement individualized intervention plans using evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

No experience required; comprehensive training provided. The role requires physical stamina to assist children up to 50 pounds and a dedication to making a meaningful impact.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Registered Behavior Technician Certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement behavior plans.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to reduce interfering behaviors.
