Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking passionate individuals for the Behavior Technician role in San Tan Valley, Arizona. You will work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This position requires high physical stamina as you will engage in a range of physical activities and work directly with children.

The ideal candidate will be patient, compassionate, and bilingual in Spanish. You will be responsible for teaching essential skills while fostering a supportive learning environment for children with autism.

Qualifications

• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and a Tuberculosis test if not had one in last year.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized support to children with autism.
• Implement behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviours.
