Job summary

NuMark Credit Union is seeking a Universal Service Representative to provide exceptional member service while driving sales and cross-selling NuMark products to help members achieve their financial goals.

You will handle various account types, process loan applications, and balance cash drawers while maintaining confidentiality of member information. The role emphasizes relationship building, teamwork, and continuous development in a community-focused credit union environment.

Qualifications

• Three years of credit union or banking teller experience preferred.
• Consumer lending experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain NMLS number.
• High school diploma.

Responsibilities

• Build member relationships by providing exceptional service and using open-ended questions to determine where they are in their financial life-cycle.
• Achieve sales goals by understanding member situations/aspirations, offer products to meet needs, and exceed member expectations.
• Open various types of accounts and cross-sell products, such as loans.
• Process loan applications and handle disbursals & closings for consumer and home equity loans.
• Accurately handle cash and non-cash transactions and balance cash drawers.
• Contact prospective and existing members to solicit new business by email or phone to meet goals.
