Job Description

Thomas Nissan is seeking an experienced, motivated, and customer-focused Bilingual Automotive Service Advisor to join our growing service department.

The ideal candidate must be fluent in both English and Spanish, possess excellent communication and organizational skills, and have a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

As a Service Advisor, you will serve as the primary point of contact between customers and service technicians. You will be responsible for identifying customer service needs, recommending appropriate maintenance and repairs, coordinating service operations, and ensuring a positive customer experience from beginning to end.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Service: Greet customers professionally, build lasting relationships, address concerns, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

• Bilingual Communication: Communicate effectively with English- and Spanish-speaking customers regarding vehicle concerns, recommended repairs, estimates, and service updates.

• Service Coordination: Serve as the primary liaison between customers and service technicians to ensure accurate communication and timely completion of repairs.

• Workflow Management: Monitor repair orders, track vehicle service progress, coordinate with technicians, and keep customers informed throughout the repair process.

• Sales & Profitability: Identify maintenance and repair opportunities, recommend appropriate services, and contribute to departmental sales and profitability goals.

• Repair Estimates: Prepare and explain service recommendations, repair estimates, and expected completion times.

• Quality Assurance: Verify that authorized services have been completed accurately and in accordance with dealership standards.

• Customer Follow-Up: Maintain communication with customers, address questions or concerns, and promote customer retention.

• Documentation: Maintain accurate repair orders, customer records, and service documentation.

• Team Collaboration: Work closely with technicians, service management, and other dealership personnel to maintain an efficient and productive service department.
