Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Parts Specialist to deliver a high level of customer service to retail and installer customers while supporting store management in daily tasks. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply and will benefit from training and growth opportunities.

The role covers greeting customers, assisting with merchandise selection, handling phone inquiries, processing payments, returns, and warranties, and performing in-store services where permitted.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Provide outstanding, friendly, and professional customer service.
• Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in-store at the same time.
• Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service.
• ASE certification preferred.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with selecting merchandise.
• Promote customer service programs and related selling.
• Assist professional customers as needed.
• Process transactions and returns per policy.
• Address and resolve customer complaints.
• Assist with stock, planograms, and daily operational tasks.
• Perform in-store services (e.g., install wipers, test batteries) where allowed by law.
• Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle as needed.
• All other duties as assigned.
