Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months of entry level claims handling or 2+ years of college degree may substitute.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred.
• Must obtain and maintain a valid insurance adjuster license as needed by location.
• Strong commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
• Experience in non-standard auto is a plus.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Handle intake, investigation, valuation, exposure and settlement within authority.
• Ensure claims are concluded promptly and equitably per policy terms.
• Take statements from insureds, claimants and witnesses.
• Maintain timely and accurate loss reserves.
• Provide Best in Class Customer Service to Kemper customers.
