Job summary

Snap-on Tools is seeking an Equipment Sales Specialist to cover a defined territory, selling John Bean products to automotive service facilities and dealerships. The role requires bilingual Spanish/English communication and a strong sales background, with a base pay of $65,000 per year plus commission and bonuses.

Responsibilities include generating sales, quoting prices, building a robust pipeline, and training customers on equipment.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in Spanish and English with proven ability to communicate in both languages.
• Outside sales experience with a track record of meeting/exceeding sales goals.
• Strong technical abilities and familiarity with automotive service equipment.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with concurrent timelines.
• Energetic, urgency to sell, and positive representation of the Snap-on brand.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate subject matter expertise related to Snap-on equipment (John Bean products).
• Generate sales within the assigned territory for Snap-on equipment.
• Quote prices, prepare proposals, and conduct location surveys to gauge product fit.
• Build and maintain a healthy pipeline through cold calls, leads, and canvassing.
• Develop and sustain relationships with existing customers.
• Collaborate with field service teams to deliver cohesive customer experiences.
• Conduct equipment training and demonstrations for customers.
• Establish relationships with Snap-on franchisees.
• Leverage other divisions for customer solutions and brand awareness.
• Resolve customer concerns with professional courtesy and escalation.
• Analyze territory potential, track sales, and generate reports for management.
