Job summary

Snap-on Tools in Chicago, IL seeks an Equipment Sales Specialist to sell John Bean products to auto repair facilities, dealerships, and collision centers in a defined territory. Bilingual Spanish/English preferred. Starting base pay is $50,000 with commission; total compensation typically ranges from $75,000 to $120,000.

You will quote prices, prepare proposals, build a strong pipeline, train customers, and work with field service teams to ensure seamless service delivery across the territory.

Qualifications

• Outside sales experience with a proven track record of meeting/exceeding goals
• Strong technical abilities and familiarity with automotive service equipment preferred
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with concurrent timelines
• Energetic and motivated to sell with a passion for the industry
• Commitment to selling premium undercar service equipment
• Continuous learner to develop new skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication and presentation skills

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate subject matter expertise related to Snap-on equipment (John Bean products)
• Generate sales within the assigned territory
• Accurately quote prices, prepare proposals, and conduct location surveys
• Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of prospective customers through cold calls and lead generation
• Develop, foster, and sustain relationships with existing customers
• Collaborate with field service team members to deliver cohesive customer experiences
• Facilitate equipment training and demonstrations
• Establish relationships with Snap-on franchisees
• Leverage other divisions to drive customer solutions and brand awareness
• Generate and expedite resolution of customer concerns with professionalism
• Analyze territory potential, track sales, and generate reporting to management
