Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Connecticut to support the Store Manager in delivering exceptional customer service, sales and store operations. This role step-in during the manager's absence and on opposing shifts, guiding team members to meet service standards.

You will help staff scheduling, hiring, training and coaching, manage daily opening/closing tasks, enforce policy, and ensure accurate processing of orders and returns.

Qualifications

• Must have Sales Specialist Training and Assistant Manager Certification.
• RSS Certification required.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead store team to provide excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise service levels at the retail showroom and ensure proper execution of service programs.
• Assist in staffing, scheduling, coaching, and training to achieve goals.
• Participate in the hiring process with interviews and candidate evaluation.
• Open/close duties, secure money and deposits, and ensure policy adherence.
• Process buy online/ship to store orders and transfers in a timely manner.
