Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Alabama to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance and operations. You will lead the team, handle customer service programs, and cover shifts when needed.

Qualifications

• Required: Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification
• Desired: Certified Parts Professional Certification; ASE Certification
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom and ensure staffing during peak hours.
• Assist the store manager in setting team member goals, coaching and training.
• Assist in hiring, scheduling interviews, and selecting qualified team members.
• Ensure all buy online/ship to store and transfers are processed timely and customers contacted as needed.
• Ensure returns, refunds and invoicing are handled accurately and efficiently.
• Perform store opening/closing duties, secure money and deposits, and ensure security of deliveries.
