Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts in Richmond, TX seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance and operations. The role will manage the store during the Store Manager’s absence and when working opposing shifts, leading the team to deliver excellent service to retail and professional customers.

Qualifications

• Retail sales and customer service excellence required.
• Ability to lead store team and manage during Store Manager absence.
• Experience with training and coaching team members.

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise service levels on the showroom floor and execute customer service programs.
• Help ensure adequate staffing during peak hours and sanctions.
• Assist in hiring processes: recruiting tasks, interviews, and candidate evaluation.
• Handle phone inquiries and process buys/ship-to-store orders and transfers.
• Ensure returns, invoicing, and merchandising tasks are completed correctly.
• Oversee opening/closing duties and store security as assigned.
