Job summary

Vintage Apartments is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to help lead operations and leasing at our apartment community in Houston, TX. You will support the Property Manager in daily operations, focusing on customer service, leasing efforts, and smooth administrative processes.

Responsibilities include posting income, delivering notices, coordinating renewals/move-outs, assisting leasing, and maintaining files.

Qualifications

1-2 years of property management experience.
Leasing experience preferred.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Dependable, detail-oriented, able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Collect and post income within 24 hours of collection.
Prepare and deliver delinquency, eviction, and three-day notices to vacate.
Interface with residents to schedule renewals or move-outs.
Participate in leasing activity.
File resident correspondence, back up phones, and assist in general office management.
Prepare security deposit refunds or charges.
Post all vending commissions, NSF checks, and other incomes/expenses.
Keep lease files current and complete.
Take over Property Manager duties when PM is unavailable.
