Job summary

Wingstop is seeking an Assistant Manager for the Broadway location in Garland, TX. This full-time leadership role will partner with the store manager to oversee planning, training, and daily operations to meet sales, cost, and guest-service goals.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of supervisory experience in food service or retail, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and able to adapt to new systems quickly.
• Minimum of 2 plus years of previous food service, retail or restaurant supervisory experience.
• Proficiency in analyzing profit and loss statements and overall financial performance of restaurant.
• Demonstrated ability in recruiting and selecting team members.
• Knowledge of Labor Laws.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Initiative and assertiveness.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate with the store manager the planning, organizing, training, and leadership necessary to achieve stated objectives in sales, cost, employee retention, guest service and satisfaction, food quality, cleanliness, and sanitation.
• Provide strategic and tactical leadership for the restaurant in collaboration with the General Manager and Assistant General Manager.
• Maintain operations and drive results through people development, sales and profit growth.
• Hire, train and develop team members that share Wingstop’s mission to Serve the World Flavor.
• Convey Wingstop culture to crew and be a creative team player who is dedicated to hard work, fun, and brand success.
• Staff the restaurant timely and efficiently with carefully selected team.
• Ensure the restaurant environment is safe for both team members and guests; oversee onboarding process; implement or monitor development plans; finalize hires and separations with proper procedures.
• Create team member schedules to align staffing with sales volumes while considering payroll and overtime costs; own team performance; foster a respectful, rewarding culture.
• Audit all facets of operations, understand budget and cost trends, create business plans, conduct financial analyses; control cash, property, product and equipment; meet targets; drive metrics.
• Maintain operational standards and coordinate maintenance needs with Facilities; communicate across the organization from District Manager to all team members.
• Use company tools to coach and develop staff; ensure compliance with risk management and company standards.
