Job summary

Wingstop is seeking an assistant manager in Waxahachie, TX to support the store manager by planning, organizing, training, and leading the team to achieve sales, cost, and guest satisfaction goals.

The role requires 18+, bilingual English/Spanish is a big plus; candidates should have 2+ years supervisory experience in food service or retail, strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills; expect to work 40 hours weekly including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and able to adapt to new systems quickly.
• Minimum of 2+ years of previous food service, retail or restaurant supervisory experience.
• Proficiency in analyzing profit and loss statements and overall financial performance of restaurant.
• Demonstrated ability in recruiting and selecting team members.
• Knowledge of Labor Laws.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Initiative and assertiveness.
• Strong interpersonal skills and conflict resolution skills.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to manage, train, develop and motivate a diverse crew that is highly engaged.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate with the store manager the planning, organizing, training, and leadership necessary to achieve stated objectives in sales, cost, employee retention, guest service and satisfaction, food quality, cleanliness, and sanitation.
• Create team member schedules to ensure proper staffing levels for expected sale volumes, while considering payroll and overtime costs.
• Audit all facets of operations, provide feedback and develop solutions to facilitate improvements; understand budget and cost trends; build a business plan.
• Maintain operational standards and requirements in the restaurant; identify and communicate maintenance problems to the Facilities Department.
• Coach, mentor and develop team members to ensure a high performing restaurant team; leverage support of the Restaurant Support Center.
