Job summary

Riverstone Communities is seeking an Assistant Community Manager for our Boardwalk RV and Mobile Home Resort in Homestead, FL. You will assist residents, market the community to maintain occupancy, and manage rent collections while keeping the property office organized and compliant with standards.

The role requires bilingual Spanish abilities, strong customer service, and the capacity to handle active daily tasks including walking and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

  • Bilingual in Spanish.
  • 1-2 years of administrative experience, preferably in property management.
  • 1-2 years of proven customer service experience via multiple channels.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to drive on-site locations.
  • Active physical work, including walking and lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Proficient with internet, Google/Microsoft tools, and email.

Responsibilities

  • Interact with current and prospective residents, delivering excellent service.
  • Help achieve high occupancy by marketing the community effectively.
  • Assist with rent collection and follow up on late payments.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards by daily site walks.
  • Maintain the property office and complete general administrative tasks.
  • Follow up with prospects and applicants promptly.
  • Uphold Fair Housing guidelines and participate in leadership in absence of the Property Manager.

We are currently seeking a qualified Assistant Community Manager for our Boardwalk RV and Mobile Home Resort located at 100 NE 6th Ave. Lot 214 Homestead, FL 33030.

The Assistant Community Manager position includes, but is not limited to:
  • Interact with current and prospective residents who have questions or concerns, providing excellent customer service to anyone you encounter
  • Assist with reaching a 100% occupancy rate on a consistent basis, marketing the community to ensure we are maximizing occupancy
  • Help with 100% collection of all rent and fees in a timely manner, including following up with specific residents on late rent payments
  • Participate in ensuring 100% compliance to company home standards, including walking the community daily to assess compliance
  • Maintain the property office to required standards and ensure general office work is completed to deadline
  • Perform prompt follow-up and follow-through on prospects and applicants
  • Adhere to all state, government, and local requirements to meet and exceed the expectations of all Fair Housing guidelines
  • Assumes leadership role of the property in the absence of the Property Manager
  • Other duties as qualified and trained to do so
Assistant Community Manager Requirements:
  • Bilingual in Spanish
  • 1-2 years of experience of administrative work working in an office setting; specific property management experience preferred
  • 1-2 years of proven excellent customer service experience through various methods - in person (verbally), over the phone (written), etc
  • Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle (drive to different locations on the property) with a valid driver’s license
  • Ability to be very active - walking, bending, standing and lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Computer proficiency, including using the internet, Google or Microsoft programs and email, etc.
