Job summary

Riverstone-Communities is seeking an Assistant Community Manager for the Meadows Mobile Home Park in Melbourne, FL. This role supports resident relations, marketing, and operational duties to maintain occupancy and service quality.

You will help ensure rent collection, compliance with housing guidelines, and a smooth office operation while reporting to the Property Manager. A supportive, growth‑oriented team culture awaits.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of administrative experience in an office setting.
  • 1-2 years of proven excellent customer service experience.
  • Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle with a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to be very active - walking, bending, standing and lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Computer proficiency, including using the internet, Google or Microsoft programs and email, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Interact with current and prospective residents, providing excellent customer service.
  • Assist with reaching a 100% occupancy rate and marketing the community.
  • Help with 100% collection of all rent and fees promptly, including follow-up on late payments.
  • Ensure 100% compliance to company home standards, including daily property walks.
  • Maintain the property office to required standards and complete general office work on time.
  • Follow up promptly with prospects and applicants.
  • Adhere to Fair Housing guidelines and state requirements.
  • Lead the property in the absence of the Property Manager.
  • Perform other duties as trained.

We are currently seeking a qualified Assistant Community Manager for our Meadows Mobile Home Park located at 1100 Estates Lane Melbourne, FL 32934.

The Assistant Community Manager position includes, but is not limited to:
  • Interact with current and prospective residents who have questions or concerns, providing excellent customer service to anyone you encounter

  • Assist with reaching a 100% occupancy rate on a consistent basis, marketing the community to ensure we are maximizing occupancy

  • Help with 100% collection of all rent and fees in a timely manner, including following up with specific residents on late rent payments

  • Participate in ensuring 100% compliance to company home standards, including walking the community daily to assess compliance

  • Maintain the property office to required standards and ensure general office work is completed to deadline

  • Perform prompt follow-up and follow-through on prospects and applicants

  • Adhere to all state, government, and local requirements to meet and exceed the expectations of all Fair Housing guidelines

  • Assumes leadership role of the property in the absence of the Property Manager

  • Other duties as qualified and trained to do so

Assistant Community Manager Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience of administrative work working in an office setting; specific property management experience preferred

  • 1-2 years of proven excellent customer service experience through various methods - in person (verbally), over the phone (written), etc

  • Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle (drive to different locations on the property) with a valid driver's license

  • Ability to be very active - walking, bending, standing and lifting up to 50 pounds

  • Computer proficiency, including using the internet, Google or Microsoft programs and email, etc.
