Job summary

Kidango is seeking an AR/Collections professional to direct the Accounts Receivable function, billing parents, and monitor collections. You’ll support the monthly close and provide ad-hoc analyses to management.

The role requires AA in Accounting or 1–2 years of related experience; bilingual English/Spanish is required, with strong Excel skills and familiarity with Financial Edge. Compensation includes a step-up benefits package and health screening requirements.

Qualifications

• AA in Accounting or 1–2 years accounting experience; or equivalent education/experience.
• General knowledge of accounting practices: invoicing, journal entries, reconciliations.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook; familiarity with accounting software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Adjust monthly classroom attendance entries and process credit card payments.
• Mail invoices and past due notices; record payments in system; handle annual tax forms.
• Oversee accounts receivable activities; monitor collections; contact past-due accounts and negotiate as needed.
