You will handle deposits, rents, and move-in charges, communicate policies, follow up on leads, and support retention through renewals. This is a hands-on, customer-centric position requiring English/Spanish fluency.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet prospective residents and give tours while identifying housing needs and closing leads.
• Assist new residents with leasing paperwork (applications, lease agreements).
• Collect security deposits, rent, and move-in charges.
• Explain lease terms and community policies to residents.
• Follow up with leads that did not lease.
• Ensure apartments are move-in ready with inspections and touch-ups.
• Recruit new residents through marketing efforts.
• Manage lease renewals and retention efforts.
• Respond promptly to calls, emails, and inquiries.

Job Position: Leasing Consultant

Location: Richmond, TX 77407

Pay Rate: $16 - $18/hr

Join Our Team as a Bilingual Apartment Leasing Consultant Are you passionate about helping people and creating positive customer experiences? We are currently seeking a Bilingual Apartment Leasing Consultant to support one of our property management partners. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering exceptional service to both prospective and current residents, guiding them through every step of the leasing process and ensuring a smooth, welcoming experience.

Primary Responsibilities

• Greet prospective residents and give tours while determining housing needs, preferences, and close leads
• Assist new residents with leasing paperwork, including applications, lease agreements, and employment/credit checks
• Collect security deposits, rent, and any other charges associated with resident move‑ins
• Communicate all lease and community policies to new and current residents
• Follow up with all leads and prospects that did not lease
• Ensure apartments are move‑in ready by inspecting, and adding last‑minute touches when appropriate
• Seek out new residents with creative marketing techniques
• Manage the lease renewal process and retention efforts
• Promptly respond to calls, emails, and inquiries

Requirements

• Must be fluent in both English and Spanish
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
• Basic computer knowledge including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel and exposure to social media
• Knowledge of leasing software is a plus including Yardi, Blue Moon, Entrata, Onesite, MRI, etc.
• Ability to work weekends as required
