Responsibilities

• Greet prospective residents and give tours while assessing housing needs and close leads
• Assist residents with leasing paperwork including applications and leases
• Collect security deposits, rent, and move-in charges
• Explain lease terms and community policies to residents
• Follow up with leads that did not lease
• Ensure apartments are move-in ready and perform last-minute touches
• Market to attract new residents using creative techniques
• Manage lease renewals and retention efforts
• Respond promptly to calls, emails, and inquiries

Job Position: Leasing Location: Fairfax, VA 22030 Pay Rate: $17 - $22/hr Shift:

Join Our Team as a Bilingual Apartment Leasing Consultant Are you passionate about helping people and creating positive customer experiences? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment and speak both English and Spanish fluently? If so, we d love to connect with you. We are currently seeking a Bilingual Apartment Leasing Consultant to support one of our property management partners. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering exceptional service to both prospective and current residents, guiding them through every step of the leasing process and ensuring a smooth, welcoming experience.

Primary Responsibilities

• Greet prospective residents and give tours while determining housing needs, preferences, and close leads
• Assist new residents with leasing paperwork, including applications, lease agreements, and employment/credit checks
• Collect security deposits, rent, and any other charges associated with resident move-ins
• Communicate all lease and community policies to new and current residents
• Follow up with all leads and prospects that did not lease
• Ensure apartments are move-in ready by inspecting, and adding last-minute touches when appropriate
• Seek out new residents with creative marketing techniques
• Manage the lease renewal process and retention efforts
• Promptly responding to calls, emails, and inquiries

This position reports to the property manager. Ideal candidates have experience in leasing, customer service, sales, real estate, hospitality, or retail and excel at engaging with diverse personalities. Bilingual fluency is required.

Requirements

• Must be fluent in both English and Spanish
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
• Basic computer knowledge including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel and exposure to social media
• Knowledge of leasing software is a plus including Yardi, Blue Moon, Entrata, Onesite, MRI, etc.
• Ability to work weekends as required
