Job summary

Arc After School & Experiential Education is seeking a Program Leader to support our after-school programs in Southern California. You will greet students, guide homework help, lead enrichment activities, and help create engaging clubs for diverse learners.

The role is part-time and reports to the Site Coordinator. Candidates with 1+ year experience in youth programs, strong communication, and bilingual English/Spanish are especially encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in after-school programs or youth recreation.
• Good communicator; comfortable talking with kids and parents.
• Show transcripts with 48+ college credits or pass an academic proficiency exam.
• Must pass TB test and Live Scan background check.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus and helps your resume stand out.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome kids to the program after school.
• Organize and lead activities: homework help, games, arts/crafts, and projects.
• Join in indoor and outdoor enrichment activities and clubs.
• Create unique clubs for students (career readiness, cooking, anime, dance).
• Maintain a safe environment by following safety protocols and supervising students.
• Oversee safety and well-being during after-school activities and encourage participation.
