Job summary

PLAE seeks an Elementary School Site Coordinator for its OST program, based in Philadelphia. The role runs after-school until 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays, overseeing operations, staff, and student activities for K–5 learners.

You will lead Project-Based Learning, Literacy, SEL, Mentorship, and Sports activities, ensuring alignment with district goals and program KPIs. Strong communication with school leadership and families is essential.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate Degree or higher required.
• Experience: minimum of four (4) years of experience working directly with children/adolescents (after-school/summer camp or high school setting preferred).
• Familiarity with School District of Philadelphia environments, grant-funded youth programming, or community outreach preferred.
• Proficiency with administrative systems, program data tracking, and payroll platforms (e.g. Rippling).
• Required state and local background clearances prior to hire.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily program logistics and manage use of school spaces (classrooms, cafeteria, gym).
• Supervise snack program and on-site staff/consultants.
• Coordinate program enhancements, field trips, and vendor activities.
• Maintain program data in required tracking systems.
• Ensure compliance with policies, district requirements, and grant expectations.
• Provide weekly OST attendance reports to the Principal.
• Uphold health and safety protocols across spaces.
