Job summary

Player Academy of Excellence Inc. in Philadelphia is seeking a Part-Time PLAE Site Coordinator to lead the afterschool OST program for grades 6–8, in person from the end of the school day until 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturday programming.

The role oversees staff, curriculum implementation (Literacy, SEL, Mentorship, Sports), data tracking, attendance, health and safety, and community partnerships, partnering with school leadership to align with goals and engage families.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising afterschool programs and staff.
• Strong organization and data-tracking capabilities.
• Ability to collaborate with schools and community partners.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily program logistics and space usage.
• Supervise snack program and staff schedule.
• Lead field trips, vendor activities, and program enhancements.
• Maintain program data in required systems and attend meetings.
• Ensure compliance with policies, district requirements, and grant expectations.
• Provide weekly attendance reports to the Principal.
• Model health and safety protocols across spaces.
• Lead Project-Based Learning, Mentorship, Literacy, SEL, and Sports activities.
• Coordinate with administration on KPIs and schedules.
• Manage weather-adjusted activities and behavior plans.
