Woodburn School District is seeking a Recreation Leader to supervise after-school activities in Woodburn, Oregon. This is a part-time position (approx.

3.25–4:00 hours daily) under the 21st Century Schools grant, with focus on safe, engaging student programs. You will work with staff and volunteers, provide homework support, facilitate activities, and help maintain order and safety, while communicating in English and Spanish or Russian as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate in English and Spanish or Russian.
• Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills.
• Able to follow written and oral instructions.
• Ability to work with staff, students, and families.
• Experience supervising youth preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides student supervision during program activities.
• Assists students with homework and academic activities.
• Lifts, moves, or restrains students as needed per safety plans.
• Facilitates planned recreational and enrichment activities as scheduled.
• Maintains a safe, positive learning environment.
