Job summary

Grand Valley State University is seeking an Admissions Recruiter to represent the university to prospective students, parents, counselors, and other partners. You will manage a recruitment territory, build relationships, and leverage data to sustain activity and improve admission yield.

You will advise applicants on admissions, programs, and resources through in-person and virtual meetings, open houses, and events; travel extensively to meet applicants and participate in information sessions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of two years in customer service, recruitment, education, sales, or related field.
• Strong cross-cultural skills; ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Represent GVSU to prospective students, parents, counselors, and other college selection stakeholders.
• Advise prospective applicants on admissions, programs, support resources, and opportunities via in-person and virtual meetings, presentations, calls, and emails.
• Manage recruitment territory leveraging partnerships and data to sustain activity and improve yield.
