Job summary

The University of New Mexico-Valencia Campus is seeking a Student Recruiter to join the Enrollment Management and Student Success team. The role focuses on outreach to prospective students—high schoolers, adult learners, and transfers—through school visits, presentations, and campus tours.

You will build relationships with counselors and partners, respond to inquiries by phone, email, or text, assist with admissions and financial aid connections, and help with campaigns and reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree; at least 1 year of related experience.
• Ability to read, write, and speak fluently in English and Spanish.
• Substitution of completed degrees for experience on a year-for-year basis is allowed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outreach to prospective students, including high school students, adult learners, and transfer students.
• Visit schools, community organizations, and businesses; deliver presentations and participate in college fairs and sessions.
• Coordinate campus tours for students, families, and groups; maintain relationships with counselors and partners.
• Respond to prospective student questions via phone, email, text and other approved methods; assist with admissions applications.
• Connect students with financial aid, placement, registration, and advising; support recruitment campaigns and materials.
