Konare Law seeks an Accounting Specialist to join our Finance & Accounting team to manage client billing in MyCase, process payments, and support trust to operating accounts transfers. The role emphasizes accuracy, bilingual communication, and timely reporting.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of invoicing, reconciliations, and financial reporting experience, proficiency with QuickBooks and Excel, and a willingness to learn firm-specific tools and processes to support the legal team.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years invoicing, billing, and reconciliations in accounting/finance/operations.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks and Excel.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Knowledge of trust accounting and legal billing basics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare client bills in MyCase based on time entries and services logged.
• Transfer earned fees from trust to operating accounts.
• Process and reconcile client payments.
• Reconcile billing between MyCase and QuickBooks.
• Process vendor invoices with proper coding and approvals.
• Generate and distribute invoices per contracts and billing schedules.
• Perform monthly bank, credit card, and general ledger reconciliations.
• Collect immigration fees as required.
• Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare financial reports and variance analyses.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and firm policies.
• Perform ad-hoc finance tasks as needed.
