Job summary

ResourceMFG is hiring an Accounting Assistant in Pharr, TX. This role is a weekday, day-shift position with hourly pay of $15, focused on maintaining accurate financial records and handling AP/AR, checks, and reconciliations.

The ideal candidate has an associate or higher in accounting/finance, at least 3 years of accounting experience, and proficiency in QuickBooks. Fluency in English and Spanish is required to support diverse client needs.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years accounting or bookkeeping experience.
• QuickBooks experience required.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process company checks.
• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
• Categorize and record bank transactions, including purchases, expenses, deposits, and bank charges.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Answer incoming phone calls and respond to emails professionally.
• Perform general office duties and administrative support as needed to ensure smooth office operations.
