Qualifications

• Detail oriented with accuracy

• Experience with accounting software (Excel, Word, QuickBooks or similar)
• Understanding of basic accounting principles
• Understanding of internal controls for AP/AR.

Responsibilities

• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
• Supervise accounts payable team members
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts to general ledger
• Post month-end journal entries
• Provide monthly reports comparing actual results with budgets and write budget variance notes
• Assist in developing budgets
• Support day-to-day accounting functions
• Bank reconciliations
• Process AP vouchers and AR checks
• As other duties as assigned.
