Job summary

CRRC Sifang America is seeking a bilingual accounting assistant to support the Finance Department's daily operations in Chicago. Responsibilities include processing payments, reconciling bank activity, preparing vouchers and reports, and assisting with accounting inquiries.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance (or an Associate’s with relevant experience) and fluency in Mandarin and English. The candidate should be proficient with accounting software and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or related field
• Bilingual in Mandarin Chinese and English
• Knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Office products

Responsibilities

• Compile and sort documents for transactions and audits
• Prepare vouchers, invoices, checks, and account statements
• Assist with accounts payable/receivable and payment procedures
• Process ACH, wire, and check payments to vendors and employees
• Maintain daily cash balances and bank reconciliations
• Assist in journal vouchers and bank communications
• Support monthly payment plans and bank activity reporting
• Liaise with banks regarding LC and other guarantees
