Job summary

Lighthouse CH is seeking passionate and dedicated Behavior Technicians to join our New York City team. You will provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children with autism under BCBA supervision, building skills and promoting independence in a supportive setting.

Ideal candidates embrace patience, empathy, and clear communication, are detail-oriented, and can manage a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends. A high school diploma is required; ABA experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in ABA therapy or working with individuals on the autism spectrum is preferred, but not required.
• Detail-oriented with ability to follow treatment plans, collect data, and maintain documentation.

Responsibilities

• Implement ABA therapy techniques under the supervision of a BCBA.
• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions to children following individualized treatment plans.
• Teach and reinforce social, communication, and behavioral skills in a supportive environment.
• Foster a positive therapeutic relationship with clients and promote independence.
• Conduct assessments, collect data, and track progress to ensure effective outcomes.
• Collaborate with the BCBA and team to review progress and adjust plans as needed.
• Communicate with parents/caregivers about goals, progress, and skill generalization.
• Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and progress notes.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
