Job summary

Lighthouse ABA provides in-home ABA therapy for children with autism in New York City. As a Behavior Technician, you will deliver one-on-one ABA sessions under BCBA supervision, implementing individualized treatment plans that advance communication, social, and behavioral skills.

You will collect data, track progress, and maintain detailed documentation while collaborating with families and the interdisciplinary team to support each child’s growth and independence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in ABA therapy preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Implement ABA therapy techniques under supervision of a BCBA.
• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions to children, following individualized treatment plans.
• Teach and reinforce social, communication, and behavioral skills in a supportive and structured environment.
• Foster a positive therapeutic relationship with clients, promoting independence and well-being.
• Conduct assessments, collect data, and track progress to ensure effective treatment outcomes.
• Collaborate with the BCBA and interdisciplinary team to review progress and modify plans.
• Communicate effectively with parents/caregivers, providing updates on therapy goals and progress.
• Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and data.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
