Qualifications

• Fluent bilingual Spanish and English required.
• Massachusetts Paraprofessional certification preferred.
• Experience working with children in educational settings preferred.
• Experience assisting students with communication differences or emotional regulation is highly desirable.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as a communication bridge between the student and school community.
• Support classroom participation and engagement.
• Assist with social interactions and peer relationships.
• Encourage independence while providing appropriate support.
• Help maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and school personnel.
• Assist the student with emotional regulation and coping strategies when needed.
