Job summary

Motivate LLC seeks Field Service Technicians (Station Technicians) to support Washington DC’s bikeshare system. You will maintain station terminals and components, travel across the system, and ensure operations through testing and repairs.

Training will cover technical aspects of station infrastructure. Schedules include Saturday-Wednesday or Fri-Tue shifts with potential changes per the bargaining agreement and business needs.

Qualifications

• Experience with field-based technical service repair work, construction, or related preferred.
• Technical and electronics troubleshooting background.
• Comfortable using smartphone apps, email, chat/text and learning new software.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, troubleshoot station malfunctions and conduct both minor and major repairs.
• Demonstrate expertise in station hardware and software components.
• Operate a vehicle and ride a bicycle in urban environments to perform duties.
• Ensure accurate, complete, and timely reporting of work performed.
• Complete special projects as assigned by management.
