Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods in Deer Park, IL is seeking a Bike Technician to deliver a world-class customer experience by helping cyclists select and fit equipment. You will build and repair bikes to established standards and provide knowledgeable recommendations to meet each rider’s needs.

In this role you will promote warranty sales and loyalty programs while maintaining Bike Department presentation and supporting the store team as needed.

Qualifications

• Prior experience of building, repairing, and selling bicycles preferred.
• Able to lift 15 to 35 lbs occasionally; stand/walk up to 4 hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide passionate customer service in Bike Department and sell bikes and related merchandise.
• Build and repair bikes according to established procedures.
• Promote warranty sales and loyalty programs.
• Maintain Bike Department presentation and signage.
• Support store team and perform tasks as assigned.
