Job summary

Specialized Lincoln Park in Chicago, IL seeks a Service Technician to be the frontline ambassador for the Specialized brand and to deliver outstanding in-store experiences. You will help riders with expert bike service and support sales through technical consulting.

This role requires weekend availability, strong communication, and the ability to lift at least 50 lbs. You will maintain cleanliness and operate Lightspeed POS while staying current with product lines.

Responsibilities

• Meet riders and assess service needs
• Provide options from service menu or à la carte
• Explain technical details clearly to customers
• Assist customers enthusiastically and deliver great service
• Record service work orders accurately and schedule repairs
• Advise on product/service choices without bias
• Maintain knowledge of merchandise and new product lines
• Support bike sales with technical consulting
• Keep the shop clean and organized throughout shifts
• Operate Lightspeed POS and store websites
• Maintain dependable attendance and punctuality
