Job summary

Big SNOW in East Rutherford, NJ is hiring a Lift Attendant to operate lifts, greet guests, and provide accurate information to our guests. You will help ensure a safe and enjoyable snow experience.

You must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, work in cold temperatures around 28 degrees, stand for long periods, and speak confidently in front of groups. A flexible schedule including weekends and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent guest-facing communication.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow safety procedures.
• Must be able to provide clear information and directions to Guests.

Responsibilities

• Be an accurate and reliable source of information for our Guests
• Greet and interact with guests
• Operate lifts, loading/unloading, scanning
• Assist with maintenance and SOP's of equipment and grounds as necessary
• Must bump chairs and shovel snow
• Promote and educate guests on safety and how to properly use the lifts, as well as best practices and techniques
• Acknowledging and advocating for our guests needs as it pertains to their experience with Big SNOW
• Enforce and follow safety procedures for the team and our guests
• Perform other duties as assigned by Blazer/Guide

Team Member Responsibilities:

• Must be able to shovel and remove snow from lift areas


• Must be able to be in cold temperatures (constant 28 degrees)for long periods


• Ability to stand for long periods of time
  
• Must be willing to speak in front of large groups of people
